In may not have hotted up yet but there is always hope ... mid-summer's day is next week.

It’s mid summer’s day next week and so far, we haven’t had a repeat of the last year’s blazing June …; the first two weeks being ‘dreek’.  Surely the weather will get better?  We’ve put together our of early summer events around and about Tavistock and Harford Bridge Park so here we go …

Tavistock Group of Artists Summer Show: 18 – 22 June in Tavistock Town Hall

Our local artists summer show with lots of unique art for view and for sale.  Free entry

Tavistock Town Summer Trail:  23 June to 31 August

Take a walk from the centre of town and follow the trail.  Decipher the children’s book title from the colourful floral clues.  Collect your map from Visitor Information Centre, Bedford Square, (Tuesday – Saturday).  Sponsored by Tavistock Community Gardeners and Tavistock BID www.visit-tavistock.co.uk

St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth 2019 Open Gardens

Over 20 beautiful gardens across Devon and Cornwall.  Event’s 10th anniversary with many gardens on show not normally open to the public.  Most open gardens offer refreshments and plant sales and free entry for children under 16.  Nearest to Harford Bridge is Warren Lodge, Mary Tavy PL19 9QD 2pm – 5pm admission adults £4.00 (u12’s free) on 30 June.  https://www.chsw.org.uk/events

Brenstock Music Festival 29 June
