We're Good to GoPublished Tuesday 30th of June 2020
We’re Good to Go! - It is great news that holidays will be possible again from 4 July and we are very much looking forward to welcoming all our guests back to Harford Bridge Park.
Think Plan Book
As Devon opens-up in ‘Step 3’ we recommend guests Think, Plan, Book as not all the locality’s visitor attractions, which include two excellent local pubs (Trout n’ Tipple & Peter Tavy Inn) both near Harford will be ready for un-booked walk-in guests. We will be posting information on our social media and our free mobile App in the lead up to re-opening about what we know is open, so recommend guests download and use the App to plan their stay.
To be ‘Good to Go’ , we have put into operational terms our trade association’s guidance for re-opening of holiday & touring parks and operations in a C-19 environment. Under this guidance we are required to inform all our guests of the procedures on park to stay C-19 Secure.
‘We’re Good to Go’ is a certificate of confidence that the necessary changes are in place as to how we operate our business and interact with our guests. The certificate is provided through the quality grading organization we are linked with. To achieve certification it has been necessary to produce a Risk Assessment for each area of business operations and to implement the mitigation measures necessary to keep our team, our guests and our community as safe as we can in the present circumstances. We have enrolled for the quality mark and for the AA’s COVID Confident certificate.
The procedures are now in place at Harford that are specific to the emergency and additional to our Park Rules and Booking Terms and Conditions. They will be on our Mobile App. These conditions will be e-mailed with your booking confirmation.
Overlaying our trade association’s guidance are the Government’s rules and regulations applicable to us all as citizens as to the ‘do’s & don’ts’ during the coronavirus emergency. There is a lot of guidance and the most recent applicable to us all in ‘Step 3’ can be found at Link. We recommend you read the Government Guidance.
Control the Virus
It is vital for everyone's sake that each of us takes personal responsibility for being C19 Secure and undertakes to adhere to the rules and procedures, as well as applying a lot of awareness and alertness to the risk from the infection and its transmission.
If necessary, we will remind our guests to take personal responsibility and follow the Government Guidance. If we have to remind about adherence, a ‘Yellow Card’ which re-states the Guidance is available and we hope our guests appreciate the necessity for their being some form of follow-up for the benefit of all on our park and our West Devon community. We also have a ‘Red Card’ which if used has the obvious outcome; an early end to a stay with us. So, we earnestly ask all our guests to Be Alert, Control the Virus, and Save Lives. Here is to be making Sustainable, Memorable Devon Holidays again!
With Best Wishes
Paul, Lydia, Nigel & Team at Harford Bridge Park
