We're 'Good to Go', the Ducks are in a row!

We're 'Good to Go', the Ducks are in a row! Published Wednesday 21st of April 2021

We re-opened to guests on 12th April in Step 2 unlocking. Tavistock is now open  with its markets, independent shops and heritage assets and the great outdoors of Dartmoor, The Tamar Valley AONB and our Devon beaches north and south beckon.  We now provide free on-park Wi-Fi and although shared facilities are not open we are providing showers and WC facilities through our booking system.

Re-opening

The park will be fully open on Monday 17th May in 'Step 3', all being well.  Guests will then have access to all faciliites including our new amenity building with table-top games, TV and information room.  Breakfast bread and pastries can be pre-booked through our mobile App here and they’ll be ready for collection at our Shop from 8.30 a.m. everyday.  Our ‘bean-to-cup’ hot drinks machine is always primed ready to deliver a welcome shot of caffeine or if you prefer, a nice, warming, hot chocolate! John Follet's Riverside Diner is on park Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings for fresh cooked to order food - his menu is on our App

Our Park is ‘Visit England’ accredited C-19 ‘Safe, Clean & Legal’ and we are teamed-up, trained-up and prepared with all the necessary hygiene measures and the procedures are in place to keep everyone safe.

If you’ve pre-booked, you’ll get an e-mail from us about 5 days before arrival to explain what to expect and how to book On-Park facilities.

During 'Step 2' if you are bringing a caravan or motorhome with on-board facilities (WC, washing / showering facilities etc) you are advised to use your own facilities during your stay, as we need to provide access to shower rooms to guests without on-board facilities.  Guests without can book a shower through this App up to 2-days ahead.

All our self-contained holiday accommodation is bookable in Step 2.

We can’t legally open our games room, laundry, indoor pot wash, drying room, cycle hub  or main toilet block until Step 3.

If you are planning to meet-up with friends and family at Harford during Step 2 you are very welcome to do so under the ‘Rule of 6’ outdoors.  We’ve made a new space for this in our Tree & Wildflower Reserve where there are picnic benches, an event toilet and wide-open space to enjoy the company, the outdoors, and our Dartmoor views.  Weather permitting, the Reserve is an ideal place to bring friends and families together again and to enjoy a picnic perhaps?

The opportunity to be on holiday again in Step 2 is a huge well-being boost, and although we won’t be able to open everything our Park offers the Harford Team are really looking forward to welcoming our guests again.
