The Devon Shepherd's Hut sits in a hedged quiet area of the park and is a perfect retreat for two. Inside, you’ll find a comfy double bed for lazy lie-ins, a table, two chairs, a fridge, kettle, toaster and a wicker hamper containing cutlery, tableware and drinking glasses.
With under-floor heating, double-glazing, sheep’s wool insulation and a small wood-burning stove, you’ll be toasty and warm whatever the weather. The Shepherd's Hut really is glamorous camping (glamping) at its best!
Alfresco cooking
Outside the hut is a field kitchen with everything you need to cook al fresco – freshwater, induction hobs, pots, pans, essential utensils and a firepit with a BBQ grill. When you’re done cooking, enjoy your meal in the outdoor seating area with the stunning Dartmoor landscape as your backdrop.
You’ll find our heated toilet and shower block just a short walk from the hut. You’re welcome to make use of our recreational facilities including a tennis court and indoor games room with pool table and TV.
The perfect base for your Devon adventure
The Devon Shepherd's Hut sleeps a maximum of two (over 18 only) and is a pet-free unit. One-night bookings are available on request but will attract a surcharge.
