Harford Bridge Park is ideal for holidays in West Devon, Tamar Valley, and Dartmoor.
Since summer was late this year, we will keep our camping and touring open until 14th November 2024. Our self-catering accommodation is available through the winter for short breaks or longer holidays.
Park Improvements
We replaced our Park Shop & Reception with a ramped, accessible temporary building. Planning permission for the permanent replacement was granted in July, so we are now planning the new ‘Super Reception’ for next year. In the meantime, we completed a remodelled entrance and car park that includes EV Charging Points in accessible parking bays. Additionally, Harford House, our special Dartmoor holiday cottage, has been refreshed and has its own EV charge point.
Peckish!
‘Peckish!’ is our new hot food takeaway offer. The custom-built trailer in the Amenity Courtyard provides freshly cooked hot food on Friday and Saturday evenings. Pre-order through our mobile app or over the counter when the trailer is open. For groups and rallies, special services are available on other evenings (minimum numbers apply).
TiPis
We added three Sioux-style TiPis in the main camping field for a special camping experience without bringing a tent. The new TiPi can accommodate up to four people. Find out more about this new experience [here]
‘All Prestige’
It’s been two seasons since we upgraded all our self-catering holiday caravans to our ‘Prestige’ standard. They have all modern conveniences plus features you probably won’t find in other holiday parks.
All our caravans and our special Escape Pods have a deck with a patio area and outdoor seating. There are also weatherproof outside storage boxes for boots and other holiday gear. For outdoor cooking, they have a unique BBQ/Firepit included in the package.
Inside, all have a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and a second TV in the master bedroom. All caravans have central heating and double glazing for comfortable holidays in hot or cold weather. All bedding and towels are included, as well as a hospitality pack. These units are now available through the winter months for holidays.
Camping and Caravanning
We continue to provide class-leading free Wi-Fi for all guests, and our free mobile app is a popular value addition to a camping and caravanning holiday. The app can help plan your holiday stay well ahead. Our free Wi-Fi should keep all family members happy with fast Internet access. For children, we’ve made further improvements to the play park and lots of detail work to improve roads and paths.
With holiday budgets being pressed, we kept the price of our un-serviced grass pitches at £15.00 per night all season. How about a 2-night camping break for two people on an award-winning holiday park for £30.00, including hot water, showers, and our free Wi-Fi and app?
Cycle Friendly
We are a cycle-friendly holiday park with a Cycle Hub that provides indoor cycle storage and route information. West Devon is a great place to cycle with plenty of quiet ‘B’ roads. Our park is located on National Cycle Route 27 and is a perfect base for cycle adventures. We’re also an ideal stopover on the Devon Coast to Coast Route, Land’s End/John O’Groats, or Tour de Manche.
Dog Friendly
Our dog-friendly facilities include our Tree & Wildflower reserve as the ideal place to exercise yourself and your dog. We have mown paths to follow around the 4-acre field, shaded picnic benches, and escape-proof hedges and fences surrounding the entire field. There is also a free dog wash facility on the park.
Walker Friendly
Our location is excellent for walking holidays. Harford is a great base camp for exploring Dartmoor and The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have a clothes-drying room and park laundry facilities. We welcome Duke of Edinburgh and school groups who are looking to undertake outdoor challenges.
Bookings
The August Bank Holiday (24–26 August) will be popular for a getaway, as a late summer will likely be with us. So, we advise you to book soon to secure your holiday with us and get the pick of our accommodation or camping pitches.
