Harford Bridge Holiday Park re-opens 15th March for the 2024 season. Meanwhile we are preparing for the season and are undertaking our usual repairs, renewals and upgrades to park facilities ready to welcome our holiday guests.
Harford Bridge Park is ideally situated for holidays in West Devon, Tamar Valley and Dartmoor.
Recently we started work on replacing our Park Shop & Reception. We are planning this to be operational by June 2024 – it’s a big project for us! In the meantime, we will have some shop and our reception facilities in the Amenity Building. While re-building work progresses, we have re-modelled the entrance and car park to include EV Charging Points in accessible parking bays.
‘All Prestige’
It’s been two seasons since all our self-catering holiday caravans were upgraded to our ‘Prestige’ standard. They have all modern conveniences plus features you probably won’t find on other holiday parks.
All our caravans and our special Escape Pods have a deck with patio area and outdoor seating. There are also weatherproof outside storage boxes for boots and other holiday clobber. For outdoor cooking they have a unique BBQ / Firepit included in the package.
Inside all have a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and a second TV in the master bedroom. All caravans have central heating and double glazing for comfortable holidays in hot or cold weather. All bedding and towels included as well as a hospitality pack.
Camping and Caravanning
We continue to provide our class leading free Wi-Fi for all guests and our free mobile app is a popular value addition on a camping and caravanning holiday. The App can help plan your holiday stay well ahead. Our free Wi-Fi should keep all members of the family happy with fast Internet access. For children, we’ve made further improvements to the play park and lots of detail work to improve roads and paths.
With holiday budgets being pressed, we’ve kept the price of our un-serviced grass pitches at £15.00 per night all season. How about a 2-night camping break for two people on an award-winning holiday park for £30.00 including hot water, showers and our free Wi-Fi and App?
Cycle Friendly
We are a cycle friendly holiday park with a Cycle Hub that provides indoor cycle storage and route information. West Devon is a great place to cycle with plenty of quiet ‘B’ Roads. Our park is located on National Cycle Route 27 and a perfect base for cycle adventures. We’re also an ideal stop over on the Devon Coast to Coast Route, Land’s End / John O’Groats or Tour de Manche.
Dog Friendly
Our dog friendly facilities include our Tree & Wildflower reserve as the ideal place to exercise yourself, and dog. We have mown paths to follow around the 4-acre field, shaded picnic benches and escape proof hedges and fence surrounding the entire field. There is also a free dog wash facility on park.
Walker Friendly
Our location is excellent for walking holidays. Harford is a great base camp for exploring Dartmoor and The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have a clothes-drying room and park laundry facilities. We welcome Duke of Edinburgh and school groups who are looking to undertake outdoor challenges.
Bookings
Easter weekend (29 March -1 April) and the May Bank Holiday (4 – 6 May) at Harford Bridge Holiday Park in 2024 will be popular dates for a get away. So we advise you book soon to secure your holiday with us and get the pick of our accommodation or camping pitches.
